A gorgeous nose of rosemary, leather, cocoa powder and milled pepper is a fragrant thread winding through this rich red. Dense, fine-grained tannins support flavors of baked black cherry and blackberry paste, loamy earth, graphite and Earl Grey tea leaf. Long and plush, with the detailed profile echoing on the finish.
The Dal Forno family has been crafting wine since 1983, with their estate nestled in Val D’Illasi. They cultivate 65 acres of vineyards, growing traditional local grapes like Corvina, Corvinone, Rodinella, Oseleta, and Croatina. Their vineyards sit on the slopes at 1,000 feet above sea level, where the unique soil and careful vineyard management result in exceptional grape quality.
