Sourced primarily from Cakebread’s vineyard holdings in Carneros, the 2018 Napa Valley Chardonnay leaps from the glass with enchanting aromas of spiced pears, apple butter, and lanolin. Rich and full-bodied, the palate delivers appealing freshness with a round, supple texture and a lingering finish. Cakebread’s Napa Valley Chardonnay is enjoyable now, but it will develop even greater complexity and appeal with 5-7 years' aging.
